He is a former Executive Director of Morgan Stanley, Managing Director of Citigroup and Senior Managing Director of Bear Stearns.He received his A.B. degree cum laude from Harvard College where he was a John Harvard Scholar, and his JD/MBA joint degree in international law and business from the Graduate Schools of Georgetown University where he was an Editor of the American Criminal Law Review. Steven was also a Rotary international Fellow in Latin America.

In 2019, Mr. Bell helped close the largest deal in Bedford Stuyvesant’s fifty-year history.  The Founding Chairman and Director of the New York Real Estate Chamber, and a Founding Member of the Black Business Collaborative, Mr. Bell has helped many of the most successful minority and women led real estate firms, other businesses, government entities and faith-based organizations consummate numerous transactions of national import.A graduate of Harvard College and the Harvard Business School, Mr. Bell served as a Rotary International Fellow and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He has also served as a Director of the North General Hospital, the CFO of the Ralph Lauren Cancer Center, and a Board Director of the Joint Ownership Entity of NYC and the NYC EDC New Market Tax Credit Advisory Board.

Gordon Bell is the Executive Vice President of Business Development at Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, America’s first community development corporation. In 2019, Mr. Bell helped close the largest deal in Bedford Stuyvesant’s fifty-year history.
